Central Juniata EMS, formerly Mifflin Ambulance, provides Basic Life Support (BLS) services to approximately 8,200 citizens in Mifflintown and Mifflin Boroughs, and Fermanagh, Walker, and Milford townships.  CJEMS also provides mutual aid response to surrounding companies and counties when needed.  Central Juniata EMS currently operates three Type III ambulances and runs a rehabilitation unit on local fire calls when requested.  Our company is volunteer and has been this way ever since it's creation.  CJEMS currently has paid EMTs daily that is utilized for long distance transports and to help crew an ambulance for secondary calls if needed.

Central Juniata EMS also houses the Juniata County Medic 29 vehicle from Lewistown Hospital.
